Limited edition coin research

Here is the proposed look for the queens side of the new 12 sided one pound coin. 

The design of the actual coin its self has obviously changed from how they usually look, now implementing a silver inside (similar to the existing £2) and obviously the 12 sides.

Here is a previous limited edition coin from royal mint, guessing this has been commissioned for a designer to create. It appears as if it is celebrating the anniversary for the London Undergrounds opening. 

Here is another beautiful coin design which pays homage to the famous British Novelist, Charles Dickens. This typography based piece is very attractive to look at and very well designed. Makes excellent use of typography.
