Crit feedback:

Arriving at the crit with my sketches and the background information of my chosen companies I began to receive feedback.

The Whale project which jumped out to me the most received feedback which affirmed my initial thoughts that there isn't much room for manoeuvre concerning this project and that the logos would be pretty linear. Also the fact that once the sculpture was created there wouldn't be much need for a logo/branding so it would fall dead in the water.

Harry Potter EP didn't receive much feedback, I feel that the design was pretty obvious. I was told that there were already multiple Harry Potter musicals so it wasn't specifically anything new or unique.

Fake Taxidermy For Our Vegetarian Friends gained a lot of interest although people did think that the company revolved around 'taxiderming' vegetables (something which i'd have to consider when creating the logo/branding the company).
Again, I feel my sketches were pretty obvious for this company but I'm sure the crit group knew what route I was going down with them.
I was given a lot of helpful advice and a greater sense of direction to where I could take this company in comparison to the others.

Glass Motorcycle was something I didn't particularly feel very passionate or interested in and I think for this reason my ideas didn't come across as they should, but people found the company interesting and quirky.

Conclusion:
From the crit and the feedback I gained it became obvious to me that the Artificial taxidermy company was the greatest choice, and I had been given a lot of ideas surrounding this start-up company.

I will now progress to expanding a more diverse set of ideas for this companies logo.
