In my survey I asked 4 questions which consisted of:

If you could give a piece of advice to yourself back in September / to a new student, concerning these four subjects. what would the advice be?Home life? (eg. Budgeting, getting along with flatmates etc)

2. Studio space? (eg. Feeling nervous around 2nd years, finding a mac, visiting workshops etc)

3. Coursework? (Keeping on track, Experimenting etc)

4. Preparation for the 2nd year? (Work placements, How you have developed over the year etc)

I intended to use these pieces of feedback alongside my own advice to create content for my handbook.

Speaking from experience layouts:

Having chosen 2 personal typefaces and downloaded them off DaFont website, they haven't shown up on the university MACs.

Screen printed final

The choice of ink colour for my design once printed and dried set far too brightly for what I aimed for, for this reason the halftone photographs came out hard to see and understand the message I was going for.

The typeface used wasn't informed, I intended to go for a chalk styled typeface but didn't get round to it.

I wasn't that confident with screen printing before this project and I see that as the reason why it came out badly, I didn't understand the capabilities of screen printing, but I feel I do more now so I could have a better attempt in the future.
